It's really nice inside and we were lucky enough to see their jazz band perform. They perform every other Friday. Their service was amazing! Our waitress was very kind and attentive. All of our selections were delicious!

I went here on a date Monday evening. We were able to walk in and ask for a table without reservations. We ordered the pureed eggplant (aka babaghanoush) to start with. I ordered the shrimp casserole and my date had the shrimp kebabs. Having been to Turkey last November, I thought the shrimp casserole was a bit too cheesy to be considered an authentic turkish dish. My date seemed to enjoy his shrimp.kababs. The ambiance was nice as it's on the 2nd floor and looks out onto the Cyclone. Also the wait staff delivered good service. My only critique is the prices for their seafood dishes seem to be on the higher side for what you get.

A legend of South Brooklyn. Love their new location! Absolutely phenomenal -- they're even better than before! The branzino was my absolute favorite dish. So juicy, and a huge size! We barely finished after our mezzes! The new atmosphere is very polished and upscale. We didn't know they did jazz too! We got lucky I guess. Service was quick and attentive.

Beautiful location and friendly service. Their starter bread was soft and warm. Arugula Salad - Refreshing start to the meal. Turkish Shepherd's Salad - My favorite salad from here. So flavorful! French Fries - Good quality fries. Turkish Cheese Roll - Deliciously light, crispy, and cheesy. Fried Calamari - The most tender calamari I've ever had. I didn't care much for the garlic/pine-nut sauce, but they were great without sauce anyway. Mediterranean Sea Bass - It's so nice that they have an option to debone the fish. The branzino was so fresh and meaty. Probably the freshest fish I've had in New York City. Walnut Cheesecake - It paired well with the chocolate sauce and cream that were included. Tiramisu - Rich, creamy, and subtle. Last time, we tried their Spicy Turkish Ezme Spread and Grilled Octopus. Both were amazing! I would recommend this place to any seafood lover.

I have been a longtime patron of Liman, and while the culinary excellence remains intact, I must note that the recent move to a new location has brought about a few changes. The menu, as always, features an impressive array of fresh and delicious seafood dishes that showcase the restaurant's commitment to quality. The flavors are still exceptional, and the chefs continue to deliver a memorable dining experience. The new ambiance, while different, has its own charm, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere. However, there's a subtle sense of nostalgia for the previous location that some patrons, including myself, might miss. Service remains attentive and friendly, and the staff has managed the transition well. Despite the changes, Liman retains its reputation for serving top-notch seafood. In summary, Liman maintains its four-star rating, primarily due to its consistently outstanding cuisine. While the new location brings a different vibe, it would be fantastic to see the establishment settle into its new home and perhaps recapture some of the unique charm that made the original location special.

What a beautiful spot to have lunch right on the water. We started with some spicy margaritas and the Turkish chopped salad, so fresh! Then we had the grilled octopus and chicken kabob with rice pilaf, string beans and potatoes. We asked for tzatziki on the side which made the dish. Will be back soon! Great service and ambiance as well:)
